Montgomery Purdue combines a friendly and informal working environment with a devotion to maintaining the highest degree of professionalism in serving our clients.
We are excited about our dynamic group of partners, associates, and professional staff and have enjoyed the success we have enjoyed together, as a firm.
As a full-service business law firm, offering our clients comprehensive representation in virtually all commercial matters, including transactional and litigation support, we seek out persons whom we believe will mesh well with the personalities of the firm’s lawyers, staff, and clients. We are generally looking for outgoing, enthusiastic individuals who are interested in a varied business law practice.
Diversity & Inclusion
We are dedicated to cultivating an inclusive space for each member of our team and extending this culture of inclusion into our practice. We value providing exceptional service and equal opportunity to everyone, regardless of their race, ethnicity, color, gender identity, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, physical abilities, neurodiversity, age, sexual orientation, veteran status, or criminal history.
The future of the legal profession must be equitable and diverse, and we are taking intentional steps to make this equitable vision a reality.
Summer associates and entry-level associates can expect to take on meaningful and responsible work, interacting directly with clients, from the day they begin practicing law with our firm.
Montgomery Purdue is very serious about the quality of legal services it provides to its clients. But that doesn’t mean the firm’s culture isn’t one of friendly camaraderie. We have events throughout the year, such as:
Charity fund raisers
We have always believed that a healthy and active life outside of the firm leads to the most energetic, productive people inside the firm. We find this makes for an interesting and lively workplace.
We do not expect our team members to put in exceedingly long hours. For professional support staff, overtime is an infrequent occurrence. When a big project comes up, however, which requires everyone to pitch in above and beyond the usual call of duty, our lawyers and professional support staff are there to do whatever needs to be done.
Personal interests among people in our firm vary widely.
Some of our interests include running, cooking, traveling, playing various sports, gardening, crafting, reading, playing instruments, learning foreign languages, fishing, hiking, biking, and wine tasting. A few attorneys share what they like best outside of work:
After work, there is nothing better than playing tennis outside in the searing sunshine. In winter, it’s spinning and all year around, I always find time for travel, as well as wine tasting in Woodinville, Walla Walla, and Willamette Valley.
Nothing like sledding in the mountains on a clear winter’s day.
While this former surfer has long since hung up his wetsuit, I still enjoy the outdoors, as well as tasty craft beer, English Premier League football, and embarrassing my two teenage sons.
Outside of work, I like activities that trigger my fondness for the smells of spent gunpowder, fermented cabernet grapes, welding smoke, and freshly mown grass.
Equal Opportunity Employer
Montgomery Purdue provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, marital status, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
