Briana Irani is a general civil litigator and trial attorney. As a general civil litigator, Ms. Irani represents a wide range of clients in trust and estate, landlord-tenant, and general business cases. Ms. Irani’s practice includes representing landlords in property owner and landlord-tenant disputes, including evictions, ejectments, and private takings litigation. She has significant courtroom experience, attending hearings and eviction trials across multiple counties on behalf of her landlord clients. Ms. Irani additionally represents clients in trust and estate cases, including will contests and guardianship matters. She recently second-chaired a will contest trial representing the respondents. She also represents professional trustees on annual reporting requirements for court supervised trusts and guardianships.
When did you start practicing law as a licensed attorney?
I started practicing law in Fall 2023, after passing the Washington State Bar.
What do you like about your work?
I enjoying solving issues of all sizes, from easy to complex. I am detail-oriented and enjoy the process analyzing and breaking down factors in a case.
Are you an active member in any local, state, national, or international organizations?
I am an active member of the South Asian Bar Association of Washington, the Washington State Bar Association, and the King County Bar Association.
Which skills or personality traits do you think are needed in your kind of practice that might differ from other practices?
Civil litigation requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and timeliness. It also requires good balancing skills of client communication and court deadlines.
